The New Orleans Pelicans are giving the Gretna native a second 10-day contract after signing the veteran point guard to his first 10-day contract March 21.

The Pels are tanking now due to fact their unprecedented injury situation caused the season to go south quickly. However, Elfrid has taken advantage of the situation. He regularly gets double figure assist playing largely with G league guys. Last night he had a double double with 13 assists and 10 rebounds.
