We really don't have any one that we can rely on. It's a crap shoot at best. Going to have to hit the transfer portal hard. This game in now over, we are now down by 4 as I type, We don't have lineup/talent to stage a rally.

Her first high school players are still two seasons away. The portal will be the priority. Folks better pony up some money to get good players.

The two best arms will not see any action this season. On was 22-6 at Florida and wasn't healthy last season. The other was 13-4 in the Big 12. If healthy they have been really good. Hope they can rebound to their old self. Basically both will have been out for two years. It will come down to four games in May to advance to post season. Today in my mind was a game that needed to be won. Delbrey isnt going to pitch this season and is about 80% ready with no pain. I believe Hoover is ready to go but at this point in the season it isn't worth burning a year on her. If both of those girls regain their former self them the Cajuns will be really good at the top of the pitching rotation for next season. I believe at least 2 portal pitchers at the minimum will be brought in.

I also think with Habetz relationships we get players good enough to be on top teams that will look else where for more playing time. I'm hoping those relationships will get her some inside on some of these top talents leaving other programs that may be under the radar. I bought 2 tickets knowing that I wouldn't make many if any at all this season as well as joined the NIL club to support her. I think we will be ok. Glassco leaving was worse case for us as players could leave with us not being able to recruit the portal when most players where available.
