If someone is on TOPPS, under new guidelines would they be considered "on scholarship"

Ill be happy to see no more "academic" scholarships for c and d student baseball (sec) "walkons"

If they can fully fund them. The same for Baseball, Arizona has already announced it will give scholarships to its entire roster. I fully expect more P4s to do the same.

When it comes to football to my knowledge the scholarships will remain at 85 for UL now and the walk-on program will provide the other 20.

I see pinch runners, pinch hitters, relief pitchers, defensive replacements coming in the game all the time.

    Unfortunately, yep.

The expectations for UL sports (and most other G5 programs) probably need to change. Making a regional in the sticks sports will be a very good outcome. A bowl game appearance in football, and the good old “3 games in March” for basketball. That’s about as good as can be hoped for. It’s sad what college sports have become.

As you said, national relevance is probably a thing of the past.
