Pitchers that can’t throw strikes. Terrible baseball.

It was an outlier of a game as far as throwing strikes. I didnt watch enough (nor do I know enough baseball) to know if its LSU taking more pitches, or us just missing that bad.
vs. LSU: 92 called balls out of 178 pitches (51.7 percent called balls)
Season: 1,663 called balls of 4,185 pitches (39.7 percent called balls)
The only other game that got close to 51.7% was the Southern game when we threw 47% called balls.
Agreed. Usually macro structural changes happen so slowly nobody notices until much later. MLB cut the draft again and again turning development over to college baseball. COVID changed baseball rosters in 2020, then the rosters and schollies got bumped up again. NIL money came in to play. Now all the talent flows to P5 and the rich get richer.
