Yeah…last year worked within a situation where a larger publicly traded company had acquired a much smaller, privately backed on, and integration of the smaller company’s field employments into the HSE standards of the larger one was quite interesting to say the least.

Like you said, no FRCs/PPEs required. Everyone driving around with guns in the vehicles out on location…suddenly having to come into compliance with the rules of the larger company’s.

Glad you mentioned firearms. Later in the week, I pulled up to location one afternoon, and there was a bunch of guys standing around a truck. Apparently one of the guys bought a new AR15 and they were passing it around, checking it out. Wild west indeed.
