I want them kicked off of the message board, Jon!
University sports are a product. Must protect at all costs attitude is universal.
Here’s a good example of a university attempting to control the narrative. UCONN and Coach Hurley’s rant. Guess no press pass anymore.
The reporter who captured Dan Hurley's viral, expletive-filled rant following UConn's loss to Florida in the NCAA tournament is reportedly in hot water over the clip. UConn's director of communications Bobby Mullen reportedly threatened to "ruin" the reporter's life if he did not remove the video of Hurley's rant about the refs.
I came back here to re-read the comments.
I suggested an improvement. I never mentioned a utopia. I never even thought about it.
So why do some people, instead of engaging in useful discussion, simply distort the issue to the fantastic? What is the objective of taking a simple suggestion, and stretching it to the ridiculous?
It's puzzling.
I think we can all fend for ourselves pretty good.

Can we down-vote people we don't like?
Hey, Doc. The ignore button works for me.
Agree! There will always be differences in opinions and Turbine/Moderators do a decent job of policing and deleting post when necessary. It seems for those that have a problem with the content, the ignore button should alleviate the concern for the most part. The most worrisome concern is certain individuals trying to create their own board policies that would make it less than tolerant for those that don't share their views.JMO
