Doc,
I know you are a big advocate for the university and promote it the best you can. I do really appreciate that.
However, there is also another rapidly growing entity trying to promote the University and the administration is apparently refusing to cooperate. What is your opinion on the University’s refusal to allow the guys at Ragin Review to interview our own coaches, when all of our opponents from other schools apparently embrace that opportunity?
I think UL needs to take advantage of every opportunity to be promoted and not shun those trying to spread the good word about what we have here.
Your thoughts?
Well said, I misspoke.
I want us, together, to block those who are rude, not simply those who disagree in a respectful fashion.
I also want us to block those who are almost completely negative; if we can't tell the difference between those who claim to fans but always bash UL, and trolls from other schools, then we should take the viewpoint that there is no difference.
I know of very, very few who "always bash UL"; I know many [and I am one] who have consistently voiced frustration about the seemingly willful failure of the university's administration to listen to and address the legitimate complaints from its alumni and supporters, particularly as it affects athletics. This IS, after all, an athletics forum. That implies that civil discussion about UL athletics, regardless of the point of view of the poster, is, or should be, welcome.
