Not necessarily, we don’t have to pony up ridiculous amounts of NIL to compete. Veteran teams beat more talented young teams all the time. Find the right guys and build team chemistry with some athleticism and length.

Don’t rely on the 3 point shot, get to the elbow and score the basketball. We got our guy, he is the right guy and we will be THE BASKETBALL PROGRAM in the state once again. It’s been decades since we have reached our potential.

Oh, I'm sure there will be some of "his" recruits that don't make the grade for Houston, but would be great pick-ups for us. I think that can and will happen for his first recruiting class.
