Louisiana Men's Tennis started Sun Belt Conference play with a convincing, 4-0, win at Southern Miss on Sunday.

Louisiana moved quickly to secure the doubles point. Samuel Kyjaci and Leonard Tramolay, who also celebrated their birthday on Sunday, started the day with a 6-1 win on court two. Oriol Fillat Gimenez and William Jade clinched the point with a 6-3 victory on court one.

Fillat Gimenez carried the momentum to singles, where he earned a quick 6-3, 6-1 win on court one. Jade was equally as impressive in a 6-1, 6-2 win on court three to put the Cajuns ahead 3-0. Kyjaci clinched the match on court four with a 6-3, 6-1 victory. Tramolay was also in control of his match, 6-2, 4-3, before it went unfinished.

Louisiana will return home to face Georgia State on March 23 at Cajun Courts beginning at 10 a.m.
