Pretty sure I saw we are adding a transfer from Oklahoma state as well
Elkinton from Tech and Jamyron Keller from OK State signed
Just bought my tickets to the 2026 Elite 8.
Here is what we know about the 25-26 Ragin’ Cajuns basketball team. They are going to be talented and play very hard. Like the early UH teams under Sampson, they aren’t going to be the most beautiful on the offensive side of things, but defense and rebounding makes them a dangerous team and probably a Top 3 team in the Sun Belt.
https://x.com/sunbeltreport/status/1...SZSXYLyAMxaSsQ Keller coming on board story linked here. That should complete roster
Might be fun to predict a starting lineup with the roster likely complete. We are all guaranteed to be wrong in such an attempt as most will not get here until June. My guess is Keller and Olvera will be the guards, Lewis will be the small forward, and Ellington will be the power forward. Going to go out on a limb and predict Jeremiah Evans makes a huge jump and mans the center spot. I know I will be lucky to get 2 of 5 correct.
6-foot-1 elite athlete out of Killeen (Texas) Ellison High, Keller can thrive in any system because he plays a positionless brand of basketball. He has the size of a guard, the build of an elite running back prospect, and the athleticism that translates at any level of Division I basketball. The best part about his game is how he combines his high motor with his elite athleticism. Both equate to production on both ends. Whether it is guarding an opposing four-man, grabbing a rebound, or finishing a play, Keller can be relied upon to make something positive happen in almost all areas of the game. His jumper and nuances of running an offense are where he needs to make the most improvement but his toughness qualities and ability to make plays that others cannot at his size is where his value lies.
Oklahoma State had him listed at 6’3. His bio there had similar sentiments about him as a player. It said, “tough competitor who can shoot, get downhill and create… Described as a junk yard dog, blue collar type of player”
He was also the 2022-2023 Texas UIL 5A State Player of the Year
Got my seats. No idea who’s starting. Ready to see some bball.
