We did lose a player today. An inside player named Leatherman had signed with us during the early period. That signing is not binding due to the coaching change. He announced on Twitter that he is looking at other options now. I can't recall the name of the other early signee. I do know he played this season at Pearl Rives JC. I am not sure of his plans. I also know Derrick Zimmerman took the lead on signing him.

Krystian Lewis is the name of the guard who played at PRJC this past season. He averaged 16, 4, and 4 as a pure freshman on a team that went 24 and 7. He was academically eligible before going the JC route so he can play beyond JUCO next season.

He is following Coach White and also another coach that I have heard will be an assistant under Coach White. I don't know what it means other than they are clearly in discussion.

Krystian Lewis is the name of the guard who played at PRJC this past season. He averaged 16, 4, and 4 as a pure freshman on a team that went 24 and 7. He was academically eligible before going the JC route so he can play beyond JUCO next season.

Lewis is ranked #66 in the JUCO top 100. Also noticed the new staff has offered 6’5” G Ade Popoola from Moberly CC. Ranked #11 in the JUCO 100, averaged 18.6 Pts and 9.8 Reb and also shot 46.5% from 3pt range. Looks like he has over 20 current offers.

I heard Coach White mention a commit by name on a pod cast with Jamarcus Fitzpatrick that was on YouTube. I thought it was illegal for a coach to mention a recruits name until he / she signed the letter of intent? Has that changed or did we violate NCAA rules already?

Quannas did say he would be meeting with all the guys and telling them which ones he wanted to keep. I'd expect alot of these guys to enter the portal.
