I have not seen that either Milan Mejia or Daijon Leatherman have actually signed

Leatherman signed in the fall during the early signing period. Due to the coaching change, he could leave. He announced he was staying recently. I guess he could change his mind at anytime. I was told Mejia would be a walkon. Coming from Loyola, he is likely a good student and may have some type of academic financial aid set up. Does not matter as he would count towards the 15 even as a walkon.

Said this would happen weeks ago. Of course people want to cut the walk ons which is understandable if you’re gonna fund all 15 roster spots for scholarship players. This won’t be the case though and now with the settlement the DSA’s and walkons will not be “penalized” as they are basically grandfathered in.
