I thought Malik Wilson was their sixth man. Arceneaux rarely scored in NCAA tournament.

Mylik was the majority of the time.

Arceneaux was listed as a top 60 draft prospect coming out of high school on some sites. unfortunately just as he was coming into his own he tore his achilles tendon last season. He was considered by many uh fans to be the wild card for the Cougars. When he was on he added a dimension that made us very tough to beat. Unfortunately he was off on Monday night. He never seemed to truly believe in himself on the offensive end. He was offered a big amount by Texas A&m last year. Probably will get 1.5 or more this year. Great kid but needs to believe in himself. Has all the tools. Will suck seeing him in another uniform but wish him the best. If not for the injury probably would be in the draft.

Go for him if he gets it. Will he be a Cajun if not I don't really care.

He had an achilles injury early in the season he fought through. When healthy, he is very very good.

Arceneaux actually tore his Achilles last season against Texas an and m. Usually it takes 2 full years to recover. Mylik, Francis and Arceneaux were basically the entire bench this year. All 3 were a joy to watch.

Wasn't he having some soreness late in the conference tournament and never really felt comfortable on it after?

Yes he really struggled the last 6 weeks or so of the season. In the game against Auburn in the beginning of the year he played well in the first half. Locker room at the Toyota Center didn’t have a stationary bike . His Achilles got stiff and he couldn’t run or play in the second half. Has so much potential. He fought it all season long.

Woodson is from Baytown (east of Houston) and played at Tyler Junior college before going to North Dakota. Makes sense to get back closer to home. I checked the game by game box scores for North Dakato. Some of his better games came vs the stronger competition. We probably will continue to get players of this type and it will be up to the coaching staff to develop these guys to a higher level.
