Pitcher throws a 3-1 meat pitch above the belt and one of our veteran leaders promptly hits a weak ground ball to 2B. I would rather start all freshmen for the rest of the year if this is the type of baseball we are going to play this year. Get the young guys seasoned and ready for next year.

And then another veteran leader comes up after a leadoff single and gets ahead 2-0. He gets a 2-0 fastball above the belt and proceeds to pop it straight up.

These guys have absolutely ZERO approach at the plate.
