I am doing that as well. I'm not a fan of NIL at all! But I am doing this minimum contribution for whatever that is worth.

I think it’s a great hire. He has Louisiana connections within the high school and AAU communities. He was a terrific player who played for and has now coached under one of the best coaches in college basketball for the past 8 years. I think the system that Houston runs is top notch and he will certainly attract the type of players to help us succeed. Especially point guards. I believe he will put together a solid staff from what I am hearing. And if he can engage the fanbase for some serious NIL donations/season ticket sales, I think the sky is the limit.

Basketball ain’t my thing. That said, hope this coach gets plucked for an SEC/ACC head coaching job in 3-4 years. Would mean he did great things while running our basketball program.
