My understanding is that Dr. Maggard had to get more money approved to get this deal done. Dr. Savoie approved the additional funds, and it looks like they are all in on hiring Coach White. I'm excited for a new era in MBB.

Dr Maggard never disappoints with his splash hires. This is a huge hire. This guy is extremely qualified and a great coach.
Cannot wait to see what he can do here. Lets pack the CAJUN DOME!

Really excited for the Cajuns and Quanas. He has had other opportunities but waited for the right opportunity. There are no guarantees in coaching searches but I feel really good about this.

I am basketball ignorant. Anyone with insight as to what kind of team we'll be seeing? As a self-admitted basketball moron, it looked like Bob Marlin teams focused on playing hard defense and jacking up 3's to my untrained eye. Is that just college MBB in general now? Are the dunk you very much days of MBB forever behind us?

That’s 4 people now that have said they are going back to the Dome next season. Welcome back. That is a good start but not nearly enough of what is needed to move program forward. Hopefully more come on board soon
