Imagine the new head coach recruiting players fresh off of a Final Four appearance. Probably best for all involved.

I guess but Duke's assistant coach who got hired by Miami had to leave prior to the ACC tournament. I'd rather that

The true keys to victory is the mid range game. It’s almost forgotten in today’s game, but the mid range is king.
I absolutely agree with this. Cajunsmike has argued against this but I feel that the mid range game is the key, especially once you get to crunch time and the tournament season. the 3 ball game is sexy and all but when it counts, defenses ramp up and you HAVE to be able to hit from the post or mid range to actually win.

I look forward to hearing his vision and process moving forward. He's a great hire on the basketball side, but he will need to sale his program begging with getting the Greeks, Reddots and the rest of the students back into the Dome. He will also need to engage the community as well on his vision for this program. I'm looking forward to him laying out his vision.

I’ve had season tickets since 1976… the year after I graduated from U(S)L. Had increased from two tickets to four about ten years ago. But this past year was going to be the end without a change. Glad I didn’t have to stop. Great hire.

Bingo. The mid range game is the key in close games and late season.

People tend to forget watching the NBA in the 80's and seeing someone win 132-120 or something like that.

Duke and Miami are in the ACC, why would you want an assistant to not go, on the cusp of ACC Tourney...get a box, get your stuff, and get out of the building...
