After giving up my long time season tickets four years ago, I'll now get back into the game and into the Dome!
Per Locked on Cougars, he's staying with Houston until the end of the tournament. Makes sense to go that route.
Imagine the new head coach recruiting players fresh off of a Final Four appearance. Probably best for all involved.

The crazy part about that is you would think it would lead to higher team scoring averages but it doesn’t. Of the NBA’s top 50 highest team scoring averages, only 10 have been from the 2000’s to current. Of those only 1 have been in the top 10.
The true keys to victory is the mid range game. It’s almost forgotten in today’s game, but the mid range is king.
At Houston, they're one of the best defensive teams in the country but also have guys that can score the ball. You don't carry that high of a ranking all season if you can't do both. I obviously don't expect us to get those types of athletes so we'll have to see what pans out and who stays, if any. Roster management is going to be huge
Gonna buy ST's again after a lot of yearsss
It is not as bad as some think. Last year’s champion won a game in the NCAA tournament. This year’s runner up won at Memphis, a team which could win the American tournament. Granted middle and bottom of the league was down this year, somewhat due to Portal transfers. Despite that, SBC split the MAC challenge this year. You would think MAC would be stronger as they are in basketball country. I will close with my reminder that there are over 30 basketball conferences with 2/3 of them being 1 bid leagues.
