Really excited for the Cajuns and Quanas. He has had other opportunities but waited for the right opportunity. There are no guarantees in coaching searches but I feel really good about this.

Excited about this hire. I’ve been down to begrudgingly holding on to 1 ticket. I’ll add an extra next year. Hope to y’all out at the Dome.

Great hire! Targeted their guy. And when they needed to step up in pay to get that guy...they did the work! kudos!
Excited about getting back in the dome!

I haven’t been in the dome for a few years, though admittedly not a huge basketball fan. Excited for this hire and will definitely be in the dome as much as possible next season.

I am basketball ignorant. Anyone with insight as to what kind of team we'll be seeing? As a self-admitted basketball moron, it looked like Bob Marlin teams focused on playing hard defense and jacking up 3's to my untrained eye. Is that just college MBB in general now? Are the dunk you very much days of MBB forever behind us?

That’s 4 people now that have said they are going back to the Dome next season. Welcome back. That is a good start but not nearly enough of what is needed to move program forward. Hopefully more come on board soon

All of basketball now relies on shooting lots of threes per game.

Yep- that's all levels of basketball now.....aNaLyTiCs is the culprit. Everybody thinks they're Steph Curry now

Have a feeling we will be seeing lots of dribble drives and attacking the basket with hard nosed guards and slashers. I expect the defensive intensity and rebounding to step it up a notch as well.

Best basketball knowledge hire since Glynn Cyprien.

Ironically Quannas White got his bachelor’s degree (really did) in sociology in 2004 the same year Cyprien was hired at Louisiana.
