Was very good friends with the dean of the LSU med school back in the time when Doc Pennington made the donation. The complex was supposed to to be a national leader I was told.

15-20 years later, the complex was an embarrassment. Cobwebs and mold/mildew all over the common spaces.

Just affirmed what my father told me about LSU. So much money, so little return.
