They have also played UC Irvine, lsu, Kansas state, Vanderbilt and Washington. Not exactly a cupcake schedule.

When is the last time (if ever) that we’ve played a top 25 team in 4 straight weekend series? I don’t think we are a “bad” team. We are probably very average when looking at the whole of college baseball. This stretch is an absolute gauntlet though, and we are not at the caliber currently of the teams we are facing. In the long run, this is a very good problem to have, especially with the struggle we have coming up in conference play. Means we can schedule well and get top notch teams to play us at our place and theirs. 3 ranked teams in our league is a huge boost to the ceiling of our program. I have a feeling this is gonna be tough to watch in the short term though. I’ll have to keep reminding myself of that.

We do know that we are a team that cannot make to many mistakes and still hope to win.

Nebraska was ranked when UL played them. Now, I’d say they’re in the same boat as UL, underperforming.

I still think they are going to win a lot of games and are a good ball club. They have played a pretty tough schedule was all I was pointing out. They have only played 3 games at home as well.

Unfortunately. The conference is down as a whole... even though SBC has several in the Top 25. Not a good pre-conference season for the SBC - 9th rated conference overall... Only midweek games remain to change that... Southland is even ahead of the SBC...

We have a very young team that is getting great exposure currently. This can certainly be a regional team while paying dues. I really like the trajectory into next season.
