We are probably very average when looking at the whole of college baseball. This stretch is an absolute gauntlet though, and we are not at the caliber currently of the teams we are facing. In the long run, this is a very good problem to have, especially with the struggle we have coming up in conference play. Means we can schedule well and get top notch teams to play us at our place and theirs. 3 ranked teams in our league is a huge boost to the ceiling of our program. I have a feeling this is gonna be tough to watch in the short term though. I’ll have to keep reminding myself of that.
We will improve. We are playing young and we are young. It will get better. I would be surprised if the 2nd half of the season was not better than the 1st half. It will be fun to watch.

They have also played UC Irvine, lsu, Kansas state, Vanderbilt and Washington. Not exactly a cupcake schedule.

Hard to argue anything you said here. We still don't know who are. And probably won't til we get well into conference play.

We do know that we are a team that cannot make to many mistakes and still hope to win.

Nebraska was ranked when UL played them. Now, I’d say they’re in the same boat as UL, underperforming.
