Texas Tech might of bought one of the top pitchers available, but softball has been evolving where hitters catch up with the Montanas, Bahls and NiJarees of the world pretty quick after 2 or 3 years. They don’t fool too many good players at that point.

CAH will find some diamonds in the rough
Habetz will find diamonds. As far as pitching, as long as we can hold on to Shelbi Sunseri, we know our pitchers will be the best they can be. We only have Sam Ryan as a baseline to judge our pitching. Anyone who watches her this year and does not see her improvement under Coach Sunseri's tutelage isn't paying attention. Your statement about the evolution of softball is correct, but I will still take all the Montanas,Bahls and Canadys I can get.

Everyone accused lotief of trying to burn the program to the ground on way out, but glasco still won conf and only had single digit losses in first year, yet drop off seems bigger this year yet no such accusations

Louisiana loses 4th straight to Iowa 4-2. Walks are killing us.

The small ball game is obviously about execution. Getting a runner to 3rd with 1 out, back to back strike outs. Hate to see it.

We got a long season of small ball coming up. Not very exciting unless you're winning.

Old friend Brooke Ellestad strikes with an RBI triple to open the scoring.

Noble has been fine in spots, but she gives up a ton of hits. I know we’re limited in pitching. What do we have right now and what could we have if we get players healthy.

    We don't hit. Doesn't matter who's pitching.

Clutch hitting has been more of a problem.
