The new D1 Baseball top 25 for March 3rd includes three SBC teams. Troy at #19, Southern Miss at #20 and Coastal Carolina at #24. The Sun Belt Conference is indeed a strong baseball conference.

We have a chance to turn this season around as we have yet to play 3 ranked teams on our schedule: DBU, Troy, and USM. Maybe we can meet Covid Carolina in the tournament as well.

Was an attempt made to do a split weekend series with CCU OOC like UL did with South Alabama a few years back?

This is huge.

In seasons past IF they didn't make a name for themselves preconference, (they almost always did) there was nothing the conference scheule could do to help the team regroup and climb.
