Very strange coaching decisions late game in this one. Let Holzhammer keep going after loading the bases with free passes and then letting Cuff hit with bases loaded after already K’ing 3 times. Hopefully the guys bounce back like last week.

Uhhh we let that one get away. Just basically gave it to them. The most frustrating way to lose.

The sad highlight was the ESPN+ dropped the “golden sombrero” on Cuff’s 4th K. Had not heard that in a long time. The guy sounded like Lou Holtz at times, but he obviously knows baseball.

Holzhammer is one of our top relievers. Wednesday Cuff hit a bomb that landed in somewhere in the crawfish ponds south of Duson. These are our most proven players.

Given Cuff's last AB was frustrating to say the least......BUT it's still early in season and I don't know of a single coach in 50+ years of following baseball that would NOT show confidence in his best, most proven talent at this point in season. Way too soon in season to lose/forfeit confidence in your top returning players. Our chances of winning longer term hinge on these players finding their mojo.
