Nitecaps had one hell of a shot menu. It was probably my favorite bar on the strip. Lots of us who worked in the restaurants went there after work.

Nitecaps opened up a "shot station" against the same wall as the entry door. It was a vending machine where some hot chick would stand behind this piece of plywood and was for shots only. Don't think I've ever seen that anywhere else.

It was also where you heard "I need a miracle", "Castles in the sky, Zombie Nation and "The Launch" every night.

Initiate at the Pub, head down to Nitecaps.

Mother’s every Thursday night then pep rallies at the keg I think on Fridays. All I remember is the cheap beer.
They used to have a refrigerated truck with taps on the side and you served yourself for free.

I had a pretty good stash of Schlitz pitchers in my dorm room.

I bar-tended at Le'Cole before the 2am shut-down existed and would sometime leave the bar at 6am after cleanup. Needless to say, my grade for an 8am chemistry class wasn't good.

Yeah, telling your kids/grandkids that one is a mind blower.

I remember when they started that 2 o'clock closing business. We all went to Boo Boo's. Saw Edgar Winter's White Trash there. They didn't start until 2AM because that's when the crowd showed up.

Did that myself a time or two. If you got there too early sometime, you'd catch the end of the "older" folk leaving from a night of Cajun dancing.

Funny how those older places all magically burned down….,
