Uh-uh. No one is embracing anything mid-major and you are foolish for even suggesting anyone is. You should know by now that Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball is not a mid-major program anymore than Villanova and Connecticut men's basketball or Coastal Carolina baseball are mid-major programs. But you look at the topic and make an assumption without reading the first line of the thread that this poll and the teams are being viewed as ahead of the Cajuns. This (perceived) lack of respect can be used as incentive for the Cajuns to remind everyone who is at the top of the pecking order of those teams that are not in one of the 4 "power conferences."

But seriously, this is a mulligan year. Next year returning to the Cajun Softball we all know is paramount.
