Time for a new women’s basketball coach as well. Never lose to ULM.

Wonder where CGB’s average finish is after all these years? CBM’s was 5th, 2 NCAA appearances, 1 NIT, 1 RS championship and he (rightfully) got ran.

He has been a good shop minder to a sport nobody really cares about. Credit for that. With all those AAU connections, should we expect better?

Not posting this to put Gary on blast. I was actually a bit surprised when I saw the record. Just felt that his teams had done better.

Not counting this year, has a .550 overall winning percentage. .539 in conference in 12 years.

1 regular season championship that led to an WNIT invite where they were 1 and done.

2 WBI championships. Similar tournament to the CIT on the men’s side.

A couple of wins over the SEC maybe 2015/16ish? Think that was Arkansas and Ole Miss.

    0 ncaa appearances.

Marlin had a better winning %, won a couple of sunbelt tournament championships and like you said, participated in the NIT x 1 and NCAA x 2. And got run.

It’s time for Gary to go. Women’s basketball nationally has gotten a lot more popular than in years past. The right coach can turn it around and more people would go to the games and watch if they actually win and put a better product on floor. Same for men.

Currently in 7th (tied for 6th), got a putrid USA at home and USM on the road to finish season. Could finish in top half of league. Given the SBC as a league to go cold for long periods of time, the tournament may be winnable. Almost beat league undefeated JMU to start league play. Anything can happen.

Now in Monroe, a very close statistical game. Impressed both teams had 10 turnovers each.

I have been saying this for a couple of years now. I will say that Garry's recruiting has seemed to improve in the recent past, but it has not really showed in his results.

Ironically, both the men and women are 8-8 in league.

Pretty Sure Dr Maggard will give Gary another year. He doesn't want to have to replace yet another coach this year, but the conversation needs to begin.

It seems like the injury situation is a big issue for WBB every season. In last week's interview with Jay Walker, Coach Brodhead talked about a good 6'3" player last week who is missing this season due to injury. I don't recall her name.

Charlotte Carvalho, Jr. 6'2" F from Senegal

Give CGB credit, he hit the portal hard. Will have to do it again next year.

Good plan, SBC is a conference ripe for NIL raiding. Why bring in all h/s kids and get cherry picked every year?
