The better defensive team is winning this one after 7. Horrible strike call on the 3-1 pitch against our leadoff hitter (Bellard) … if not the 3-0 pitch. That 3-1 pitch was not an umpire blink … it was eyes closed halfway to the plate.

Should not of stepped out the box to first before the strike 2 call. Yes, was a ball IMO, but we see it every year. Don’t show up blue.

Now we can’t get a 50/50 call on a pitch.

Not that it matters, defensive is a massive failure after the season opener.
