The number of complaints I heard about the food Friday night was over 9000. Overpriced. Poor quality. Long lines. Slow service. It was no better Saturday afternoon. I was terribly disappointed in my university. My grandstand seats are supposed to be a "premium experience" and they qualify me for another "premium experience" in the football stadium, which I may forego investing in. It's really hard to justify the expense of being an RCAF investor when the food service experience is so poor. We live in a part of the country where one can get a more premium food experience at a gas station. We MUST get this right. I have not complained to Bryan Maggard because I am sure that complaints are already coming his way.

He sees the complaints. The problem is that this contract is done through the university instead of athletics.

Yea, that whole Premium Experience thing is soooo overpriced and if history is any indicator, it never reach the level of anyone's premium expectations. Football, Baseball, etc.

This is all part of the reason we're a middle of the pack in SBC raising money and having a more robust budget..Taking the money but not the responsibility.

Speaking of premium experience and baseball. Who is in charge of food in Stadium Club? I'm not a Stadium Club member but I have heard the food is decent in there for a premium price. I would assume its Sodexo.

I just cannot justify the cost of Stadium Club passes. I would rarely use the Stadium Club. If I want to be at the baseball game, I want to be in the stands. If I want heat or AC and watch on TV, I will do that at my house.

Sodexo handles food inside the club.

It must be part of their contract with TSAB.

If you add a second L to the school's name that is right across the street from you, TSAB will allow you to sell food at all of their athletic venues

It’s hard to get and keep local vendors with the food costs and the 40% that is given to Sodexho per event . That would make their prices very high .

The lazy way out through the Sodexo deal has cost Louisiana Athletics countless millions.

All the way from fewer fans extrapolated over many seasons, to fewer donors due to fewer fans to pool from to outright avoidance of events.
