I don't know about on an individual basis, but Cajundome will not open their doors without opening concession stands.

They will refuse events to organizations that would otherwise fill every single hotel room in town and fill every restaurant after hours if those organizations dont agree to using Cajundome concessions.

No brown bags (as a group) allowed.

Basically the Cajundome won't make concessions on concessions.

Understood. But i meant since these are school children. Usually on a field trip the school sends bag lunches, or they could they take a break and go eat on the school bus? Or is the no re-entry policy in effect as well?

How many time do I have to say this! WE DO NOT WANT TO GROW THE FAN BASE!!!!

The ONLY things I get from concessions at any UL sporting event is Vics peanuts and a large coke. It's all a big joke. I've completely given up in thinking this administration will do anything that actually caters to the fanbase. It's useless.....just like their efforts. I no longer buy season tickets. Haven't in several years. I typically go to every home football game, but I buy tix at the gate. I quit going to basketball games years ago. Maybe attended 5-10 games over the last several years. Used to only attend a handful of baseball games in the past, but now attend about half the home games. But as far as me spending money on concessions, it's my bare minimum peanuts and a coke. I support mediocrity with mediocrity.

What about hiding food in jacket pockets

I used to eat and drink at UL athletic events all of the time. Now I do all I can to avoid spending money at games. The food is bad, the drinks are nothing special and the prices for everything is ridiculous.

This weekend, I stopped at Judice Inn before the game Friday and ate TWO cheeseburgers, chips and a drink for around $15. Much better and more food for a much better price, then drank a couple of beers in the parking lot prior to going into the park! I went into the stadium with a full belly and very happy and didn't spend another dime inside.

There are multiple other places right near the athletic complex that are available for a variety of similar experiences from game-to-game! As a matter of principal I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices that UL/Sodexo want to charge for a very bad and poor product.
This has been my game plan for many years! They charge too much, so not going to pay for something that over priced! Wife and I agreed we would have bought a couple of beverages at the BB game Saturday night, but couldn't get beyond the stupid, high price.

Usually just beers at the games but will seriously reconsider that. I used to love coming a bit early and having some tailgate beers. May go back to that.

Also, in the same boat with eating before the game. Either tailgating for football or at a restaurant. Downside of that is if you bring younger kids and you have a short window to attend that game. You may not have time to eat before and still have a limited time in the actual game as it is. The baby may get a lot more time at athletics because we'll need that diaper bag to get some snacks in.

List what we got? We cant have a philly cheesesteak stand at baseball?
That is a very long list of "local" vendors at TSAB including KOK who was started in Lafayette by 4 UL graduates

Is TSAB easier for local vendors to deal with than our admin? Less red tape involved possibly?
