Oh wow! For one year? And who did they announce that to? I mean, I wasn't attending games because of a myriad of reasons, so how would someone like myself, know this "price drop" in concessions? So, they lowered prices for one season, with zero advertising, still the same bad product on the court, and attendance didn't immediately soar to record levels?????? Geez! I mean....what else do they have to do to get people to go to the games?!?! I'm in utter disbelief!
Man, you're a marketing genius!!! Hell, let's just hand out saltines and install water fountains, right? I mean, we're there to watch a sporting event, not be fed. Great idea! With your logic, so many more people will want to take in that wonderful experience. Bread and water.....its what makes prison and college sports THE premier entertainment venue!!!
Yeah- I think it was only 1 year. This was after the Atlanta Falcons opened their new stadium and adopted similar concession pricing policies.
This was the season before Covid and I’m guessing Covid gave the admin a good excuse to get away from it

I don’t think the Cajundome participated because Cajundome always does their own thing

I’m pleased to report that I made it through another UL game (baseball) last night without spending any money at the concession stands!
