Thread: Should UL get rid of Sodexo?

The question no one is asking: Is the contract to handle concessions at the sports facilities being used to lower the cost of what Sodexo charges to handle the food services on campus? How much is this saving UL? Is the ROI on these savings negative because it is costing UL ticket revenue from people not going to games?

If Lafayette only had a decent investigation media outlet, this subject would make a great 3 night sweeps news package...or a large article in The Times of Acadiana

The food trucks are an amenity, a draw, an attraction, an enhancment, a week to week curiosity that can get fans coming through the gates of Cajun Basin, they shouldn't have to pay a dime.

They should be givdn a stipend for showing up.

Can you buy just the chicken or do you have to pay for the fries as well?

(Serious question- I haven’t even looked at the concessions at the Cajundome the last 3 seasons and have been to most home games)

If that's the case, then it makes sense that attendance is down everywhere. Can't afford to go to the damn games anymore. But we should stop complaining or coming up with ideas to make it better......got it.

Ohhhhhh, well then......now that you put it that way.....its practically free. And I mean, you don't need to buy a drink also. You can drink from the bathroom sink. I swear man, all people do is b!+ch and complain on here. Finally....someone on here to remind us to eat bugs and be happy.
BTW, a 3 finger combo with fries, bread, sauce and a 22 of drink is less than 10 dollars at Cane's. But 12 dollars for just tenders (and not very good ones) is a real steal.
