Wow!!!
Hope this is indicative of what could be a great season.
Potgieter strung birdies on 15 thru 17 on last round was clutch.
When is the last time UL won a tournament?
This is their first outright win since the 2023 Sun Belt tournament. They were declared “co-champions” along w/ UAB and Southern Miss in the season-opener the following fall, but I guess they didn’t have a playoff.
This is a really nice win for the program. Lot of history w/ the Border Olympics, and Houston is a top-50 team, so that will be good for the resume.
