Justin was hired about a month before practices started. At that time I was for the hire because basically he was the only choice as
the previous hired coach quit before even coaching a practice. After three years it was obviously not working out as no pitcher that I can recall got better. Kandra Lamb got better because she was pitching less and in a different role. Glasco stripped all of Justin's duties and he was basically demoted. When I saw Justin at the LSU game in BR warming up the pitchers in catchers gear and not a student manager I knew his time was up. For 3/4 of the year he didn't call pitches, make circle visits, or make pitching decisions. He wasn't returning even if Glasco did.
