I think we get too wrapped up in the saying "big name" with regards to diamond sports. Not sure if it is an homage to their previous big name in football or if it is a lack of remembering our own diamond sport successes. Nebraska in this case has not won a regional in about 20 years and only one conf tourny in same time and only 1 bowl win in 10 years. This trend statrted in softball when 75pct (+) of the time we call an opponent a big name, they should have been calling us that
Sucks to be a Nebraska fan this weekend. I bet they are calling us a small time low budget 2nd rated program.

Shouldn’t this be shutting down? Take the money and film some games. Done and done.
Agree. The SBC is a big time college baseball/softball conference and Louisiana is a leading factor in that. Year end 2024 conference baseball rankings on warrennolan.com the SBC is ranked 5th! CUSA was #10; AAC 13th. In 2022 & 2023, the SBC was #6 ranked. If and when SBC consistently has members in the CWS then we could say its an elite college baseball conference. Unfortunately for the SBC and its members, perception becomes reality in eyes of the college sports media/networks.
I'm not the most tech savvy guy, am fine listening on radio if not attending a game. But since we live in a video world, if our baseball game is not on ESPN+, why couldn't the game be streamed on the ragincajuns.com website? Even without announcers for those enjoying video. The athletic department could post video baseball highlight snippets on X.com or other social media for outreach. Maybe they already do something like that? Seems like with the technology choices today solutions are available to further promote baseball reaching more of our fans.
We should have equipment and enough personnel to run and broadcast multiple events at the same time.
