If in the Lafayette area, I get your drift. It stinks for the out of towners that still have skin in the game. I try to make as many weekends as possible, but early season conflicts with my Texas high school soccer schedule, so not really feasible until late March. As someone previously mentioned, it’s understandable that we can’t get every game broadcast, but when Kansas City College softball is prioritized over a top 25 Baseball opponent, someone dropped the ball. I understand fairness being applied, but so should common sense.
If yall wanna watch the Cajuns..show up
All the mens and womens basketball and all the baseball and softball games are on the radio. Just listen there and you have yur choice. I don't think there are too many schools that have all the football, Mens and Womens basketball, Baseball and Softball on the radio. Why give ESPN money. I really don't understand the issue. Radio is better you can listen to the game and do other things.
Streamed games produce video highlights which also allow outlets like D1 Baseball and 11Point7 to share which gets viewed by hundreds of thousands of eyes and gives us more recognition as a program. The walk-off by Debarge last year against Tulane was viewed by just under 200k people when 11Point7 posted it.
