To be honest, I was expecting a run rule win for Texas and that is what they got. They have 5 stars at every position. The pitcher they started against us was a freshman All American last year and was the Big 12 Freshman of the year. Radar had her consistently at 68 with a few at 70. They did what they needed to do as the No. 1 ranked team in the country. Some of our upper classmen have got to get their sticks going. Leaving too many runners on base and not moving them over. I was expecting better results against the Seton Hall whose pitcher never got over 62 mph. Having the bases loaded twice and not scoring a run really deflates a team. We are going to have to manufacture runs this year. I will say that Hayden gave Kavan all she wanted last night with her first at bat. She really battled and fouled off 8 or 9 pitches. Looking forward to see what happens against GM today.
Why aren't the games on the + today?
