The advantage is the two games are technically D1 games.
The downside is the MAC and the SBC are in the same 1 bid league boat. Cross playing with the MAC only solidifies both leagues’ poor NET rankings.
NIU has a NET of 353. 4 of 12 MAC teams are 300+. 4 of 14 SBC teams are 300+.

Jay, is the SBC-MAC challenge going to have the same format for the next 2 years? I really hope it goes to a November-December format.
As far as yesterday's game goes, it was nice to see the team have a close one go their way after tough losses vs USM, USA, and Georgia Southern. Craig and I will briefly discuss the games on this just completed road trip in this week's MBB podcast. Should be out Wednesday.
