    Default Power Conference: 72 Schools

This is likely where this is heading. What will happen to the rest of the FBS schools?

I’ve told yall there’s only ~ 25 or so schools that matter to the Powers. Name brand schools.

Agree, however 32 schools or maybe 48 schools for 'markets' makes a nice even number for the TV networks. It all stinks to high heaven, but the university presidents traded control for media money years ago. All we can hope for is top G5 gets into future CFP.

I'd bet money that this happens if there was a way to do it

If you replace one team on that list with "ONE G5 SCHOOL THAT WINS ALOT OF GAMES THAT YEAR", then that's pretty much what we have now
