National Signing Day is just days away for high school football players as they take the next step in their athletic and academic careers. There are heaps of athletes hailing from Lafayette Parish and its surrounding areas who will sign to play for teams across the nation.

For three area players, their college football careers won’t take them too far away. Acadiana’s Russell Babineaux, Cecilia’s Brent Gordon Jr., and St. Thomas More’s Aiden Falgout are staying home and committed to Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns football.
