You are probably right. I can tell you that there were more UL students than LSU students supporting the original Legends when it first opened. That support helped Jared fund many other locations. He also employs more UL students than LSU students.
With that said, I'm not naive. I'm sure most of those same students will be more than happy to watch a LSU game while drinking a few Nattys.
It's the Goat for me! Done with Legends.
Bud, I hate to break it to you but 95%+ business sponsors are in it for either a) the advertising and marketing in hopes to grow their revenue or b) tax write offs. Most are not doing it to display their loyalty to 1 university. If that’s their goal, most would likely do it under their personal name.
People go to Legends to get a burger, cold beverage and maybe even hope to meet a lovely companion for the evening. Visit them for what they are, which is a friendly neighborhood bar with a good product and atmosphere, and a business that gives money to the program we all love.
Additionally, pretty sure several folks boycotting them for calling us ULL actually boycott supporting certain segments of actual UL, so what the hell does it even matter?? lol
If their goal is to increase revenue, ____ing the people off who are the target of their marketing isn’t the way to go. People on this thread have claimed possible ignorance, but that’s a problem solved with a 2 second email/text to employees that “UL” only goes on signage.
It's up again, ULL
Jared Doise must be completely hands off on his business.
His stance was completely opposite when he first became a Professor at Louisiana
