It’s a shame we’re having a down year. Truth hurts, but I’ve been following the Sun Belt for 30 years, and this is the worst I’ve ever seen it.

Arkansas St is pretty good and..ummm..yeah.

5 teams 300 or worse in NET.

Arkansas State only sub 100 team. If you want to understand universities’ logic about investing in MBB, go look at South Alabama. Was 110ish in NET last week. Two bad losses and big drop hit.

Arkansas State still has to win in March or they’re home for the big dance. All 14 programs will never make the investments.

You are right. As of now, think the only thing that can get league to be a sustained top 10 conference is P4 creating a new football league solely for them.

It’s going to happen at some point. For now, if UL can nail this coaching hire, have to think chances to win the league quickly aren’t bad.

Too late, the wolves are at the door. I’ve been dogged for saying the big boys are going to pick off MBB next. Don’t think for a second BSB and SB won’t end up on the radar at some point.

After the first 7 minutes, it was hard to believe a comeback was possible. Chancelor White had a great game. I’ve always like his game, just hasn’t translated. Hopefully something to build on for him and this team.

Texas State has by far, at rare times, the most vulgar SBC message board. At the same time, a few of those guys have the creativity that our student section could learn from.

Like the "Mixing Midol and Bud Lite" burn. Borderline, yet effective.

Only a few great lines, but their traffic for MBB is a little more than UL's. But not much.

Good to see the 3’s finally start to fall. It’s also good to see the team finally get rewarded for their hard work. Hopefully they keep it up and make a little noise down the stretch. South Al at the dome Saturday night

I like it. I had a lot of fun going back and forth with the students in San Marcos for the football game this past season. Of course I got escorted out by 5 campus PD after we intercepted them at the end of the game. Even they tried to tell the cops it was all in good fun but they didn’t care. They let the students carry on after that. I guess what I’m saying is we should learn something from Texas state in that UPD and security should let students be students.
