Juan Brown did an excellent update. the end is very informative.

There are a couple of YouTube channels that break down plane crashes. Some are tough to watch because simple things can kill the pilot and sometimes, the pilot's family.

The cause of this is not the result of a political decision by either party.

True but gutting a board charged with identifying safety issues cannot be a good thing.
From the bit that I've seen, the vid Helmut posted and limited understanding of pilotage, the Blackhawk pilot was at fault? The crj seemed to be following ATC instructions.

A spokesman addressed speculation today, until the NTSB finishes the investigation, there’s no official cause yet.

I do expect it to be done quicker than in the past.

Both followed instructions, the Blackhawk crew messed up.

I have 2000.2 hours in a UH60M, my former unit just left there 4 months ago. It’s an incredibly busy airspace to operate in.

I refuse to lay blame on political hot button topics because it’s not about politics at this point.

I could list hundreds of contributing factors, but it won’t change the fact that 70ish people have died in a midair.

Aviation is one of the most unforgiving industries out there. A critical mistake in a critical phase of flight will result in a fatal accident the majority of the time.

I have friends who know that 60 crew pretty well and it’s unfortunate.

When the Lord wants you, fault and politics are not on His checklist.

Condolences to you, know it hits home.
