...Looked like the hillo came all the way from left to right and ramed the plane…..had to see this many times….know absolutely nothing but just don’t understand what I THINK I saw!

You do realize that the "Head's" of these agencies are just politicians that mostly send emails and guide the agency. Plus, none of these changes go into effect immediately so those firings have nothing to do with this incident.

Helicopter was a UH-60 Blackhawk based in either Ft. Belvoir or Langley, both in Fairfax County, VA. Belvoir is home to Military Intelligence and Security; Langley/McLean is home to the CIA and NSA [though NSA is said to no longer exist]. When I indirectly worked for them we called it "No Such Agency". MIS and the Company make regular flights along that route.

Reports are that the only people in board the 'Hawk' were 2 pilots and a crew chief. No one survived.

Excellent breakdown and makes total sense. I have read elsewhere about the difficulty of identifying traffic at a busy airport and a lot up city at night. Reagan seems tricky to fly into anyway with all of the restricted airspace in the area.
