UL coach Derrick Zimmerman is convinced things will soon turn around for his Ragin’ Cajuns.

The next opportunity comes at 7 p.m. Thursday against the Texas State Bobcats in San Marcos, Texas.

Who knows in this crappy basketball conference. Hell ULM just best #2 team in conference South Al.

UL is 13th in SBC right now at 4-5, but only 2 games back of 2nd place South Al which is 6-3.

I mostly enjoy our games.....the guys are trying. From a postseason perspective this season has LONG been over. Need to use remaining games to develop underclassmen and give the new incoming coach a clear as possible assessment of potential returning talent.

If we win a handful along the way......all langiappe at this point.

I agree with you, I do enjoy watching these guys working as hard as they can on the court. You can see it. And it hurts when they go through the stretches of not scoring. I know it hurts them more than me.

I am hopeful they are able to string a few wins together down the stretch and maybe a few in the sbc tournament. I will always pull for them to win.

Little the coach can do once preparation is over. Guys simply have to make open shots. Plays called are getting them open looks. They need to play "without fear of failure" at crunch time. I credit Coach Habetz of softball for that term. She used it in her interviw with Jay on Monday night. Basketball wise, I think the guys are pressing a little at times which does not help you execute.
