    If I remember correctly, Ashley Brignac and Alissa Dalton were also selected to the USA Junior National Team. Those two were OUTSTANDING and this one, Mikki Watts will be, too.

    Competed in the infield, primarily at catcher and shortstop, for Loranger (La.) High School from 2022-25

    Was also an accomplished javelin thrower claiming a state championship in senior season.

    Selected to the 2025 USA Softball U-18 Women’s National Team to compete in the WBSC World Cup Finals.

    Participated in the 2025 Alliance Fastpitch All-Star game

    Helped lead Loranger to its first-ever first round playoff bye, furthest advancement in the playoffs (third round) and first 20-win season in school history.

    During senior season in 2025 … batted .628, scored 49 runs, swiped 28 stolen bases at a 100 percent success rate and caught 145-1/3 innings in final prep season.

    Was the Northshore Prep Player of the Year, Parish and District MVP, named to the all-state team and first team all-district performer.

    Earned first team all-district honors each of the first three seasons with LHS.

    Was named first team all-parish in 2024 on Tangipahoa’s first-ever team named and was a USA 2023 National Selection Top Performer 16u.

    Elevated to a .637 batting average in junior season, totaling 44 hits with over half going for extra bases (17 doubles, five triples, three homers), scored 52 runs and posted 27 RBI

    Stole 20-plus bases for the third straight year ending a perfect 35-for-35 … played travel ball for Louisiana Blazers Elite 07 (2019-2023) and Texas Bombers (2023-2025).

    Uncle, Howard Dobson, played collegiate baseball at McNeese and coached collegiate softball as an assistant softball coach at LSU and head coach at Southern Miss.

    Member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club

    Served on the Student Council at Loranger HS

    Received the Outstanding Academic Achievement in College Algebra and passed the College Level Examination Program in Biology

    Community service included volunteering at a nursing home.

    Is a kinesiology major

    Aspires to be drafted into the AUSL and play professionally.

    Would like to open and own a training facility, working alongside other great coaches and athletes to train the next generation of players.
