Mcshay says 3rd or 4th....That's pretty good!

UL's D Line has never been very good under Bustle and is year in and year out just about our weakest area. Who is our current D Line coach, Broussard? Am I reading this wrong or is this a shot at Davis' lack of coaching in college?

I have read several scouting reports on Hall Davis and most of the read like this. Prototypical DE size and athleticism, played in a system that required to many reads and was over complicated. Had Davis been allowed to be a pure rush end his numbers would have been much higher.

Which would have been huge for our defense last year. QB pressures = disruption in the passing game..

    Anyone else reading into this?

McShay is almost always wrong and generally considered a complete failure at evaluating talent (see: Andre Woodson from UK). I would expect Hall to go much later (6-7) or be a FA signing.

It's a lack of coaching, not the right kind of coaching, or not coachable. Multiple factors in play here.
