UL fans know this. Non UL fans see a beat down.

Nobody remembers or cares about the results of bowl games these days. They're meaningless.

They are not meaningless if you are in your senior year of high school and don't yet see the big picture and not if you are contemplating making one of the participants yoir destination

We had 3 new starters in the offensive line, no tight ends, lost best receivers is probably why we looked unprepared.

Especially with the 12 personnel we run. We had a RB in at TE.

What about TCU? They weren't playing with a full deck either.

Sorry, but UL is not the only program subject to players sitting out, skipping, etc.

Yup…if you think our depth is as good as TCU, I have some bad news for you bc it’s not close.

Also like I said…I could care less about bowl results.

TCU had a couple WR out and a couple guys on defense. It wasn’t even close to the numbers we were missing. They also have more depth than we do. Had that game been played in October I think it is much closer.

Nothing is a “better” marketing tool for the next season is wrapping the season up with an old fashion beat down…two of them.

Can’t market effectively if the phrase “yeah but” is included.

Doesn’t mean I’m happy with the situation, and I do understand. Just doesn’t fly with recruiting new fans.
