Since we're talking about a snow disasters, how about the local coverage from 3 and 10....these people actually get paid to be this bad...I'm waiting for one of the katc reporters to stick their tongue to a frozen pole...

Local news is way bad. You get what you pay for.

God forgive me…KATC has me thinking of Family Guy.

My gosh, the reporter was in her back yard and dropped her phone into the snow.

KLFY has one reporter that loves dem winter birds. To her credit she’s out with a camera man, not on her phone.

Dumbest thing I have ever done. 1996 or so there was a major ice storm in Louisiana and Texas. I was living in Lufkin but was back home in the berry visiting when the storm hit. I was new to the workforce and convinced I needed to get back to Lufkin for work. So I drove back in a 2WD Ranger with worn out tires. It wasn’t terrible until I left Jasper. HWY 63 from Jasper to Lufkin was a sheet of ice. I spun out and off the road more times than I could count. Luckily I was able to ease back on and get to Lufkin. I think the normally 4 hour drive took me 7.

And a 4WD definitely would have helped, I was passed by many.

So dumb. No cell phone, nothing.

It's really not that bad without the wind. Kinda surprised.

I tried watching it yesterday for the first time in a while and outside of the weather segments, it was brutally bad

KATC air talent seems to be the news manager, Rob, Daniel and a bunch of people with cell phones.

And really bad grammar. Also, Rob's ego is so big, he is annoying too.
